We have been working exclusively with Gillian Ley for all our design needs in the hotel for the past several years.

Her projects have ranged from individual suite upgrades, a re-design of our café, extensive hallway upgrades, to a major lobby renovation and re-design. We commissioned Gillian as the artist to paint “Floribunda”, our 2004 entry for Orcas in the City. The colourful orca now graces our front entrance.

Gillian was instrumental in the restoration and design of our signature Regency Suite, which was destroyed by fire. We are very pleased with the quality and innovativeness of Gillian’s work and especially excited to witness the “re-birth” of our signature suite at her hands.
